In this tower the intercessors are intimate with the Lord. They have to bear the burden of the cross and understand the sacrifice that the Father made in sending his Son. This testimony will be an unshakable testimony.
The Greek word for intimate is “entygchano.” This is also the word used in Hebrews 7 to describe the Lord’s ministry –
But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
Intercession is a deeply intimate experience of the Lord. Inside this tower the intercessors will have to feel the Lord’s agony for all the destruction which is around him, and then having felt that bring it to him in intimate prayer. Intercessors here will be people of a gentle spirit who will suffer quietly with the Lord they love. They have little to say but much to bear.
